Switching fulfillment providers,
step by step.
Moving inventory from one fulfillment provider to another has four steps. This page states each one, what it costs here, and which parts your current provider controls.
1. Write to us with what you ship
Tell us the product, the cartons on hand, the orders you ship in a month and the platform your store runs on. We answer in writing with the month priced on your figures. The account opens with a signed agreement, and the receiving address is issued in writing with it.
2. Ask your current provider for a removal
Your provider ships your inventory to the receiving address, or releases it to a carrier you book. Removal fees and notice periods are theirs and sit in your contract with them. Ask for the carton count and the tracking numbers, and send them to us before the freight leaves.
We receive cartons, not pallets that have to move intact. Cartons over 50 pounds are quoted in writing first.
3. Receiving
Each carton is counted against your packing list and photographed at intake, at $3.00 per box. The receiving report follows within two business days of unloading, and any difference against your list is stated on it.
4. Connect the store and ship
The connector is configured and tested against your own store during onboarding, before your first live order moves. Orders received before 12:00 PM Pacific Time ship the same business day.
What a month costs after the move
Pick and pack is $3.00 per order with the first item included, and storage is $25.00 per occupied position per month with a one month minimum. Thirty orders and one position come to $115.00 in service fees, and one hundred orders to $325.00. Postage bills at the carrier's cost. There is no setup fee and no monthly minimum.
