Your return address,
inside the United States.

Marketplaces require a return address inside the United States. Whether you sell from abroad or your fulfilment provider will not take returns back, this is that address: every return is received, inspected against your own condition checklist, photographed, and either restocked as sellable inventory or set aside as damaged.

A seller in Morocco, Vietnam or the Dominican Republic runs into the same wall: the marketplace wants a United States address for returns, and the large fulfillment companies want three hundred orders a month before they answer. This service exists at the other end of that scale, run at parcel level from Fairview, Oregon.

A seller inside the United States runs into a different version of the same wall. When the orders ship from a dropshipping provider's warehouse, that warehouse will not take the returns back, and TikTok Shop prints the return address on every outbound label, so refused and undelivered parcels arrive at it as well. The address has to be real, and someone has to open what lands there.

What it costs

  • Returns processing: $4.00 per return, received, inspected and restocked.
  • Inspection to your own checklist: $0.50 per unit, optional, with a per-pack weight check and photographs in your portal.
  • Storage: $25.00 per occupied position per month for restocked inventory held here, one-month minimum.
  • Reshipping a restocked unit: $3.00 per order, plus $0.50 when we generate the label, and postage at the carrier cost.
  • No setup fee, no monthly minimum, no contract term.

The terms that come with an account directed from abroad

Stated here rather than after a signature. The account runs prepaid, with a deposit equal to one estimated month of service before the first inbound, and each month invoiced ahead and reconciled against actual usage. Inventory arriving from outside the United States arrives already cleared with duties paid, under you or the customs agent you engage as importer of record. EdCo does not act as importer, consignee or customs broker under any circumstance, and does not sign customs documents. Your own registration is enough to sign: a sole proprietor signs in his own name.

Yes. Once the account is open you receive the address in writing and enter it in your marketplace settings. Returns arrive here, get inspected and photographed, and the outcome is yours to decide per unit.
Yes. A returns-only account is a normal account here, and nothing of yours sits in the building until a return arrives. Each package received bills at the returns rate, and storage applies only while a returned unit is held on a position. A month in which nothing arrives and nothing is held bills nothing.

We can hand it to the carrier you choose with the label you provide, and postage bills at the carrier cost. What we never do is act as exporter of record or sign customs documents. Most sellers find it cheaper to restock the unit here than to move it twice across an ocean.
Cartons over 50 pounds each, palletized or container freight that has to move intact, loose lithium batteries, anything regulated as food or ingestible, hazardous materials and weapons. Those limits sit in the agreement rather than surfacing later.
